If you are selling your own produce there are no restrictions.
In order to be fair to our local growers, no wholesalers are
allowed.
If you are selling ready-to-eat food or baked goods you must
follow the "Uninspected Food Processors" guidelines provided
by Johnson County Community Health Services shown below.
If you are selling your own crafts there are no restrictions.
If your crafts were purchased elsewhere and you are reselling
them, you will need to obtain a retail license from the City
of Holden.
If you are selling eggs you must have an Egg License issued by
the State. The applications for licenses are available below
or by calling (816) 597-3353 or by sending an email to info@holdenmarket.com
If you are selling animals, they must be kept in cages or in
the stalls provided at our location.
There is NO CHARGE to participate, but you must register in advance
by calling (816) 597-3353 or by sending an email with your
name, address, telephone number and list of items you will
be selling to info@holdenmarket.com.
You can also register at the market on Saturday mornings.
This is a farmers' market, not a flea market. Please do not bring
flea market type items to sell.
All Sellers will need to provide their own tables, chairs, scales
or display items.
Booth location is based on first come first serve basis. Our
location will accomodate selling out of the bed of your truck
or car trunk. Selling in the parking lot is not permitted except
when no other space is available.
